Captain Jay

Captain Jay is a Pacific Northwest native and experienced yacht captain with a lifelong passion for boating on the waters of Seattle and the surrounding region. He grew up on Mercer Island, Washington, spending much of his time on Lake Washington and Lake Union wakeboarding, water skiing, and exploring the area's waterways. From an early age he also cruised extensively through the San Juan Islands with his family, developing a strong foundation in navigation, seamanship, and safe vessel operation. Captain Jay holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master Captain's License and is CPR certified. He has operated professionally as a charter captain for more than four years, leading private yacht charters focused on providing guests with a relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable experience on the water. He specializes in charters on Lake Washington and Lake Union, including sightseeing cruises, swimming outings, sunset cruises, Husky sailgating, and special-event charters during Seafair and the Fourth of July. Having spent most of his life boating these waters, he knows the best cruising routes, scenic anchorages, and ideal viewing locations for many of Seattle's biggest waterfront events. Guests appreciate Captain Jay's calm leadership, strong focus on safety, and deep local knowledge, along with the welcoming atmosphere he creates on board for every charter.

Captain Michael

Captain Michael is an experienced yacht captain with a lifelong passion for recreational boating and more than four decades of hands-on maritime experience. He began boating with his family as an infant, starting with a 1951 Chris Craft Cavalier, and has since developed deep expertise in vessel operations, navigation, safety, and maintenance. He has operated recreational vessels up to 70 feet across coastal and inland waters, manages guest-focused day and multi-day excursions, and is known for safe docking, route planning, and calm leadership in changing conditions. His maritime background includes extensive San Juan Islands knowledge, active participation in yacht club events, and strong commitment to USCG safety and compliance. Captain Michael holds U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner credentials and is CPR/First Aid and boating safety certified. Education includes Monta Vista High School and De Anza College.
